I became an ACA member and involved with the Atheist Experience, initially as a cameraman, after having seen it on TV. I believe the show is important in that it provides one of very few explicit counters to the continuous stream of religious programming seen on other cable channels. Also, the Atheist Experience is one of only two live atheist call-in shows in the U.S. (the other is in Hawaii). So, I do what I can to help keep it on the air. I studied physics in school which, like Russell Glasser, is in no small part due to my parents encouraging my interest in science.
